Monotone is a project dedicated to the musical avant-garde and the electronic experimentation.

Influenced by the dub’s revolution started by Ernestus and Oswald in the 90's with the Basic Channel’s stuff, the first stage of the project is completely linked to Session Elements. Guest artists like G-Man, Convextion, Delta Funktionen, Don Williams, Fluxion, Mike Huckaby, NewWorldAquarium, MLZ o DJ Pete define better than an adjetive the sound that Monotone shares with the S.E. staff.

In a second stage Monotone is related to Eleve, locked in underground electronic music scene taking an important step by creating their own label in 2010: Eleve Records, marked by the deep spirit of the group.

While working in the activities of Eleve, Monotone becomes an active member of Abismal. With them, he shares the fascination for experimentation and the new dubstep’s wave, promoting a new concept of multidisciplinary events where you can mix the best of art and the cutting edge music.
