Mimar Sinan is a New York City-based artist. Nobody knows who he really is, and he remains enigmatic. His beats, littered about, have remained, by-and-large, elusive. They are hard to classify - somewhere between hip-hop beats/instrumentals, remixes/mashups, and electronic music.
He currently resides somewhere in Sub-terranean New York City, underneath the underground, plotting his ascent, collecting and rummaging through samples all day and night, or so it's said. There are theories abound that he is a visitor from outer space, such is the depth of ignorance as to who this beat-maker really is, where he's come from, and what name it is, exactly, that can be written on a litigious document, so that the Mimar can be sued for permissions infringements...
All jokes aside, the Mimar's beats are beginning to emerge from the depths, for your listening pleasure. All hail the Mimar!
