Milky Tea is a record collector and selector whose vinyl collection spans an eclectic mix of 60's rhythm'n'blues, funk, soul, Latin, Afro, and reggae sounds from around the world. Her sets are known for traversing genres, decades, and time zones, taking her audience on a musical journey.
A lover of sound system culture across all genres, Milky Tea's highlights include playing on the El Gran Mono Pico Sound System and Inner West Reggae Disco Machine for Sound on Sound/VIVID (2022), ForeignDub Sound System for Sydney Tings (2022), Prion Audio at Realm Riparia (2022), and Submerge System for Forward Ever (Naarm/Melbourne), 2023. In 2024, she smashed the IWRDM stage at Dayshift and lit up Byron Bay for Sub Unity sound system meet up featuring Hex Sound & Submerge System.
She is a founding member of Queen Bee DJs and a resident at Queens Hotel (ENMORE), The Hive Bar (ERSKINEVILLE), and Rekodo Vinyl Bar (Barangaroo).
