Matt has been a DJ since he was 13 years of age yet he has only become a professional DJ at 16. His production work came into effect in the summer of 2011 working for a local Red Deer radio station called KRAZE 101.3 FM on the Street Team. While he was soon to realize that he was working with an old friend of his on the team who was also a DJ who goes by the name DJ CUE. Later in the summer during an event in Sylvan Lake, He was introduced to an artist by the name of Najjah Calibur who Matt later produced for. Once Matty-p produced for Najjah is when his production really took off.
