The career of Manuel Defil, better known as DJ Manuel – The Sound of Prophet, began as organizer of ethnic musical events, mainly in his homeland, Puglia. Only later, after he moved to Rome, his passion for music and his work as events organizer have found the right balance giving birth to 'The Sound of Prophet' a team of Lounge and Ethnic Music DJs and artists of which Manuel is still the main representative. And Rome immediately perceived the musical characteristics of Manuel, his continuous search for new sounds, able to captivate the refined ear of a unique Capital in the world. He participated to many Radio happenings too, especially abroad: Greece and Ibiza in the head. And just in Ibiza he was the star of fantastic musical sunsets at the renowned Sun Sea beach club, on Sant'Antoni seafront and in legendary Cafe del Mar. Manuel is also famous for his Ethnic compilations “Prophet Collection”always in the best position of international Music chart.
