It’S (Not Always) Grim Up North, United Kingdom
When I hear a beat or loop and I feel it, I just bond with it. I don’t follow the crowd or the hype. I have never considered myself as a DJ but someone who likes the process of listening, learning, blending and sharing. Pleasure and reward is the reaction recieved from someone when they also bond with that sound. I’ve been nodding my head, shifting my feet, raising my hands, losing myself and losing it for a long time. I have a lot to thank of those pioneers from Chicago and Detroit. That journey from 86 to 20 is anything from 122bpm to 135bpm.
