At the age of 12, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I started out on turntables in the break-dance era, organizing small parties and, with each event, gaining more knowledge and sharpening my skills. By my mid-teens, I was interning at radio stations, learning the craft of hot-mixing Chicago House and Latin Freestyle music from some of the best DJs in Chicago. In my late teens, I was already taking on larger gigs, steadily expanding my experience. By my early twenties, I was performing at large clubs in Chicago & N.W. Indiana, private parties, taverns, radio stations, and weddings. During my career, I have performed at thousands of venues doing gigs of all types. Now, 44 years later, I can still say with passion that I love what I do and will continue to do it for years to come.
