Alex Madsen a.k.a MAD-SIN was born in 1992 in the southwest border city of El Paso, Tx. In late 2010 after three years of much needed improvement of his skills MAD-SIN teamed up with his old friend Trent Shamaley a.k.a Downlow'd. This connection led to the creation of Macro Records as well as the electronic music duo Downlow'd + MAD-SIN. Within the first two years MAD-SIN released a plethora original EP's and singles with Downlow'd on such labels as; Macro Records (US), Brooklyn Fire (US), Hot Small Records (CLB), Noobish Records (LU), and many others. MAD-SIN has done remixes for Downlow’d, The Girls Can Hear Us!, and ZXX just to name a few. MAD-SIN currently focuses the main amount of his time on running his own label Macro Records which continues to grow into a hub for groundbreaking dance music.
