Phil Arnold – DJ LytWork
Rooted in soul, funk, and early R&B, my love for music started young with my parents playing Ohio Players, Marvin, Rick James, Third World amongst others on the hifi stereo. Then, from playing trumpet in school bands to discovering rap and hip-hop on LA’s legendary AM radio station KDAY, my musical journey was always evolving. While in college, a close friend of mine had a setup of Technics 1200s and a Numark mixer. This caught my attention and planted the seed for something more musically. After years of admiring the art form of DJing, I am now stepping behind the decks. I’m excited to dive deeper into the craft, blending genres that reflect my musical roots and experiences. My DJ journey is just beginning—and I awant to connect, and share the joy of music with you.
