I was born in Guaynabo, P.R. in 1969. I was one of three children raised by a single mother. We grew up between NY, NJ, and P.R.and moving around so much just naturally introduced me to diverse influences in my communities.

My childhood and my mother are the source of my affinity towards music. My mom loved bringing people together through food,drinking and music. Her enthusiasm was infectious,and I still remember the block parties that would literally close down the street to cars and families would turn up the music an dance,eat and play games until they were tired or the police would shut us down.

I have been influenced by so many different genres of music,that I enjoy communicating through any art form that celebrates Life.

Since my accident in July 2008, I have experienced different levels of healing through music. After all, I did celebrate "40" years and my unexpected gift from my close friends, was a dj set up. So every now & then, here & there I play to heal my soul.
