Barbara (aka Lady Babz) has been enraptured by music since discovering her parents record collection at age five. A record nerd, she has listened, played and danced her way through a wide spectrum of music styles. Originally from Winnipeg, MB, Canada she has been privileged to rock parties in both Winnipeg and New Zealand her current home. Barbara is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for people of all ages to relax, express and groove. The music that moves her soul includes hip hop, funk, disco, R n B, jazz, soul, motown, rhythm and blues, house, latin, afro beat and world grooves.
