Music sounds better with you, she wants to celebrate! Maribeth "Kilusan" Tabanera is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from Treaty One Territory (Winnipeg). With over 25 years of experience as a street style dancer, her musical choices are driven by what she personally loves to get down to; funk, soul, disco, hip hop, house, techno, dancehall, and afrobeat. A graduate from Mama Cutsworth's DJ Academy for All Women and Non-Binary Folks, she has been playing her favourite tracks at events all over Winnipeg. Kilusan is currently a resident DJ with Queer People of Colour Winnipeg and Synonym Art Consultation. Most recently, she DJed the Queens Creation Official After-Party with DJ Bles-sed in Montreal and at Bastid’s BBQ in Winnipeg.
