Kool DJ CodeRed “Your Dance Floor Director” The dance floor director is how I describe myself as a DJ. Having grown up listening to hip-hop pioneers (Kool DJ RedAlert, DJ Cash Money, DJ Chuck Chill Out), house legends (Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work, Tony Humphries), and eclectic combination of hip-hop, house and electro funk (Mantronix, Man Parrish, Afrika Bambaataa) infused with my own love of hip-hop and house music, I ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where I pick apart and infused together pieces of music that move the dance floor. Though I love playing in nightclubs, patio and special events, my love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. For me, its all about mood and playing those tracks that get you snapping your fingers, tapping your your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style or release date.
