The STEAMROOM started as a college radio show in 2002 @ WWSU Radio on the campus of Wright State University. I tried every way possible to get the name trademarked but graduation happened just as quickly as I could take things seriously. It took multiple years and tons of NO's before I met Dr. Carlotta Penn who introduced me to WCRS FM. So on June 9, 2009, THE STEAMROOM returned to the airwaves. The sound is a blend of Hip-Hop, R&B Soul, Jazz, Alternative, Local and all things VERY FRESH, stewed into a 57-59 minute blast off of good energy for your listening ear. Some of the artists are recognizable, but perhaps the songs aren't. The goal is to simply play the best music I can share each show. Hotbox with the Good Sir, catch a vibe! STEAMROOM!!
