Canadian born DJ/Poet/Rapper/Songwriter Kavela raps and writes on the most significant instrument known to mankind, and that is paper. Known for her visual words and depthening sound, she draws stories in your mind and feelings in your heart. Associated with the hearts pure nature Kavela signifies love and compassion through her art by promoting peace, unity and being within the present moment with herself and those within her surroundings.

At the age of 13, Kavela first launched her career as an Artist in Ghana, by throwing beach parties in Krokrobite, and performing at clubs and house parties. Kavela has performed at Ghanaian artist Samini’s nightclub Dancestadom and in Toronto at Evergreen BrickWorks Winter Fridays, CBC Music Festival 2019, York Pride, Ghana Fest, Canadian Music Week: I Love Afrobeats in Lula Lounge and The Spin Show on UN!TY FM.
