Rebellious as a kid: Knocking on doors and running away. I loved it! So thats why "KNOCK & BOLT".
Music? fairly simple. Music that takes you somewhere that isn't where you were.
Genre: 3 And these are in no order. I love them all. It just really depends on mood:
1. Minimal/Tech House
2. Deep House
3. Soulful House
25+ years = long time to stick with one genre. As a clubber and DJ back then I was heavily influenced by Grant Nelson, Knee Deep, garage scene and a whole bunch of DJ/Producers.
But like with food, taste buds change and you look for something a little tastier to quench the palate. Deep House and some minimal tech but with “je ne sais quoi”
Started DJ’ing around 25 years ago. Local in UK Buckinghamshire at various Clubs and bars, which then took me wider into clubs in Oxford, London & Brighton in the early 00’s. Took time out to build the family but have always kept my ear in.
Been back on the scene for about 5 years
