The Jungle Vibe Collective were the first Drum and Bass / Jungle DJ/MC/Event Promoter crew in the Twin Cities Area and raised the profile of Minneapolis as a hub for the nascent United States Jungle / Drum and Bass movement. Formed in 1996, JVC quickly established themselves an innovative and dynamic, mulitethnic and multicultural crew of djs and emcees, evolving and influencing the entire midwest dance culture from Minneapolis and flipping on its side the music, ethos, and design of midwest raves right at the peak of a global surge in electronic music and nightlife. They grew to become responsible for some of the most free-wheeling midwest Raves ever such as Murderapolis, Inside the Ride, Natural Selection, Hi-Jack, and more.
