Born and raised in Los Angeles, I spent time going to the beach, Laker games, Dodger games, and spending time with the family. I went to college at Santa Barbara City College, and then transferred to San Francisco State to study hotel and restaurant management. In San Francisco i discovered my love of music and DJ'd at various events for the next few years. Soon after i knew DJing wasn't going to pay the bills so i shipped back to Los Angeles and started my culinary career at The California School for Culinary Arts. I graduated from culinary school and did my externship at Roy's in Waikoloa Hawaii. I soon moved up the ranks at Roy's becoming a sous chef in my first three years. I continued as a sous chef bringing our restaurant from 6th in the company to 2nd. In this time i met my wife Farah and we had our first son Gavin.
