JON BOI Real name RODNEY D GORDON a Disc Jockey, was born on October 10th 1979 is known for his friendly personality and Mixing skills. Rodney came from a family with a musical background, his father the late Roland Gordon was a Musicologist, the late Seadly “Penguin” Joseph a Calypso Icon was his uncle and his brother Roderick “Chucky” Gordon a Cultural Ambassador.

Rodney’s journey into the music industry started in the late 90’s when he was transferred to San Juan Government Secondary where he played at different events by himself. He then joined Kewsi “Hoppy” Hopkinson (RadioActive) in 1995, where he got the nickname “Johnboy”. He worked at 96.1wefm and travelled the Caribbean playing alongside international songs like Stone Love etc before moving onto playing and touring Canada/USA with X-caliber and Merry Perry. The opportunity to join the Trinibashment came in 2004 before moving onto Citadel Ltd family red96.7. His love for the different genes of music makes him one of TNT
