Jollroy is the solo music project of a Ukrainian musician, founded in 2009 under the name LEXX, inspired by the eponymous science fiction TV series. In 2016, the project was renamed Jollroy.
Jollroy's music is difficult to confine to strict genre boundaries: it incorporates elements of rock, neoclassical, and ambient, while the contemporary style of the works is characterized as cinematic, soundscapes — atmospheric, cinematic, and emotionally rich electronic music.
Today, Jollroy manages the project entirely independently: handling arrangements, mixing, mastering, and production. Music distribution is managed through DistroKid.
The project actively participates in radio and podcast shows, including Ambient Memory (French radio Graf'hit), The Passed Radio Show, and Passed Compilations on the Passed Recordings label, as well as other broadcasts and compilations.
