John Reed is an independent progressive folk musician who doesn't patronise platforms that are incrementally destroying independent music. He has run The Compendium since April 2021 to play a part in supporting independent music, encouraging listeners to 'go beyond the like', to listen to whole works, and to buy not just stream the music they enjoy.
John's limited social media presence is on Blue Sky, and "Instagram". Music only affects us if we give it time, or it’s like reading a preface then ditching the rest of the book. "Music calms us, energises us, inspires us, and helps us through tough times, so give it your time in return". Take a little time to listen a little more.
