My name is Dj Johndatech aka JDT and DaTechDahaus; and for the past 11 years I have posted my mixes on various podcast sites, including this one. My mixes are dedicated to the underground sounds of Deep House and Detroit Techno, and anything funky, soulful, and electronic in between.
I have been house and techno head since 1987. For the past 32 years house and techno have morphed into various sub-genres of electronic music, but nothing beats the classic sounds.
I love the funky, soulful, and jazzy sounds of Deep House, which was born out of Detroit Techno and early Chicago House. Too many people have misconceptions of Detroit Techno, they shun it, and if you don't give it a try, you will never discover the roots of Deep House.
