Swifty first gained notoriety for being one of the pioneering forces behind the infamous underground SmooveGroove events starting in the mid-90s on the East Coast. SmooveGroove Productions are responsible for throwing over 25 mid-to-large scale memorable events with top tier DJ & Producer talent; along with, countless weekly events throughout New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey. Prior to joining forces with SmooveGroove Jimmy was also a key member of Vibe Tribe & House of God productions.

From the time of his commencement out of the shadows and onto the stages of the underground, between 1997 until now, DJ Jimmy Swift has played at over 350 EDM, club, and rave themed events, has held many residencies, and still marches forward to the beat of the future; without ever forgetting one moment of the past. His forward vision as a DJ has left an indelible influence on the techno scene as he continues to challenge the parameters of what is possible with electronic sound.
