Rev. Erick "Jest-E" Bradley was born on September 18, 1973 in Dallas, TX. He began his musical career as a Rapper/DJ in 1985. "E", as he's known to his close associates, recorded his 1st professional record "This Is For Tha Ghetto" in 1992 on an independent label located in Dallas, TX called Blackjack Records. Erick chose the name "Jest-E" short for “Jester Erick” because of the humorist style he adds to his music.

Later in 1993, Erick decided to take the next step in his pursuit of a music career by opening his own recording studio and production company in which he named Nuttin Nice Productions. NNP became the base of Erick's work. He even started a group based upon its name, Nuttin Nice, which was comprised of himself, M.C.V. a.k.a. XKal, and Madd Dawg.
