Jason Acar started DJing back in 1999, finding his feet on wobbly belt-driven turntables where he played a combination Hard House and Hard Trance. He was soon sucked in the Johannesburg techno scene, inspired by legendary clubs and events such as GASS, Teknotribe and Underground Sound.
Over the years he has been inspired by various local and international DJ's including Mauro Picotto, Chris Liebing, Chris Liberator, Nick Grater, Alan Inferno, Dave the Drummer, Dubfire and more.
Switching to Techno he had played various events and parties in Johanneburg. He relocated to Cape Town for personal reasons where music was forced to be sidelined for some time. He has since returned with the NoTech project where he aims to deliver driving techno with shattering basslines.
