DJ, musician and vocal/rhythmic facilitator, Jana Alvarega is a fluid sound explorer focused on finding the relationship between emotions and sound.
Her DJ/Live sets are introspective journeys, accompanied by voice, hand percussion (rattles, woodwinds, shakers) and bass drums, created to induce an ecstatic experience: digital/analog and structure/improvisation merge into a sonic curve that traverses different states of the mind by mixing varied musical styles and moods, with a predilection for electronic music and its word, jazz, indie, wave, symphonic contaminations.
She is the creator of the DancingEveryWhere and Ecstatic Walking projects, immersive and exploratory ecstatic travel experiences, stable or itinerant, with silent disco headphones in beautiful natural and urban places.
