J. Wells first discovered his passion for the art of DJing at the age of 14, when he hosted his own radio show at Oswego State University. During the summer and winter breaks the college would have free-format weeks where locals could sign up for their own show. In 2006 he took his talents to New York City where he studied communications at Kingsborough Community College and interned at Power 105.1. From 2011-2015 he DJ'ed at numerous bars and clubs throughout New York and New Jersey. Although his passion is the Urban format he is versatile and can cater to all genres with his mixing and remixing abilities.
