Surfing mad DJ JustDru cut his teeth amongst the twenty four hour ragers at the renowned Plett Rage Festival and has since then become a regular performer and DJ-in-demand creating his own brand of electro-house mash-ups. Aside from being the resident DJ at the hot summer seasonal VIP nightclub and guest DJ at Zanzibar, JustDru has played at EDMF (Electro Dance Music Festival) in South Africa and has opened for noteworthy acts such as: Locnville, Good Luck, Major Laser and on of SA’s biggest players, Roger Goode.
While studying his Diploma in Sound Production in London he got to experience and learn from some of his DJ heroes like: Demitri Vegas, Mike and Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Afrojack. JustDru’s mash-ups and mixes are all created from scratch and his inspiration for how to create excitement through his music he finds at sea every time he drops into a wave.
