J.T. is a Philadelphia based DJ that has been collecting and spinning records since the age of nine. He has amassed over 50,000 vinyl records and over 100,000 digital files covering a multitude of genres. He started spinning in the footsteps and shadows of legendary DJ’s Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff & DJ Ran.  J.T.’s versatility allowed him to help fabricate the emerging underground house scene in Philadelphia with DJ’s Tee Alford, King Britt, Josh Wink,, Philip Dickerson, and Lance King. While being a recurring guest on WDAS-FM’s "Our House mix show with Eric Coston" and Mimi Browns’s “Hip Hop House Party” in the late 80’s and early 90’s J.T. was recruited by the legendary DJ Don “Mystic” Mack to help him recreate the energy of Temple University’s Mitten Hall and Univ. Of Penn’s Houston hall frat parties at his new night club “Mystique”in Old City Phila. J.T. along with Lance King help establish Mystique as one of the only clubs in center city that played underground club music in that era.
