Hailing from London, DJ Hybrid J plays open format, drawing on her rich Jamaican heritage and African ancestry, and takes a curatorial approach to her sets and events.

A DJ since August 2024, she produced a set celebrating James Baldwin's centenary at The Ministry in December 2024.

She was commissioned by Museum of the Home to be part of an artist takeover centring African and Caribbean culture (2024) and to showcase the influence of Caribbean music at the Windrush Day Festival 2025.

DJ Hybrid J opened and closed Black Mary's Pleasure Garden Festival 2025 and has performed live-streamed mixes on G-Shock Radio and BMC Radio.

An On The Rise DJ Academy alumna, she hosts a monthly residency - 'Chillin' with Attitude' - on G-Shock Radio.
