As half of the Toronto underground house duo "StretchandHooker", Wayne Mealing has had a front row seat for the rise of house music in North America. Once he began collecting house/techno records in 1994, the need to DJ quickly followed.
Hooker(wayne mealing) along with Stretch(stevemealing) were co proprietor of some of Toronto’s leading promotion companies Dose, Syrous and Lifeforce as well as co owner of Turbo niteclub.
Playing as a resident DJ for Dose parties led to residencies at System soundbar, Turbo niteclub and Element Bar. Hooker has played hundreds of parties and club nights from 100 person warehouse jams to 18,000 person mega raves, and each one of those events have helped define him as a versatile veteran. After opening or closing for some of the worlds best DJ's, WaynO has taken advantage of those experiences to help carve out his own pace and style in the ever changing landscape of House music.
