HipGnosis is Emma Young, a multi-genre producer, DJ, and owner of Phosphoros Media audio engineering consultancy.
Since 2005, Emma has been DJing, hosting radio shows, and releasing music as HipGnosis, as well as producing, mixing, and mastering for independent artists and record labels around the world, from the Midwestern United States to Russia.
Her most recent musical projects have been the release of several remixes and singles, and side projects, such as spoken word albums like futurism-oriented "Build 2020 Manifesto" with Adrian Molina, and the production and mastering for EG Bailey's "American Afrikan," which was nominated for an Independent Music Award in the Eclectic category in 2011.
She started Phosphoros Media in 2012, providing full-service audio engineering and production services to corporate clients.
