Haus Catz are a Denver-based house and techno crew that was founded in early 2018 by Alex Engelgau (aka Tailspin) and their current roster includes James Sablan (aka DJ Purrplexed) and Rameau Velez (aka Pounces). The Haus Catz sound mainly revolves around a wide-ranging palette of deep and funky bass-heavy grooves, accentuated by breakbeat, lo-fi, left field, and hip-hop sensibilities. As a collective, they have hosted a handful of residencies around Denver and numerous takeovers, including sold out shows and parties with Joseph Capriati, Yotto, and Roy Rosenfeld.
