Growing up in a small country town Jared’s love of dance music happened to be at the age of 21, the year he moved to the Gold Coast. Upon discovering his new love of one particular genre (House Music) Jared would become a regular fixture on the dancefloor but wasn’t expecting what lay ahead of him in the coming years. This obsession in electronic music would eventually evolve and become part of his everyday life as House Music now runs through his veins.

His musical taste ranges from House, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Swing, Motown, Gospel, Latin and Broken Beat. On the day of his birthday (October 2006) Jared was lucky enough to be offered a gig at one of the Gold Coasts premiere nightclubs. Not having been prepared having a dj name, a close group of friends would come to his aid giving him the name “Gunz B”. After being content and confident he could rock a dancefloor, Gunz set out to become a regular face in the Dance Music Scene.
