Groovfather's influence go back to Mohamedia. He grew up in a family of Hip-Hop Dancers. His Oncle and his Brother, Regui Jalal, was a DJ and B-boy, MC at 90's and provided him with a background in Morocco the origins of Gnawa the African Underground Sound culture.
He began playing records at "Cubic Club" in Salamanca, Spain at the age of 20 .
