Grasslands is musician and ecologist Thomas Haynes and Bristol the Badger who play a fusion of alternative rock, electronica, found sounds and folk pollinated with information about meadows, grassland ecology and the environment.

Grasslands performs with a rig of synths, samplers and DJ decks and acoustic and electric guitars. Grasslands recently produced their first L.P. ‘Flames, Doorways, Grass and Time’ which has been called ‘a collection of sonic wonderment and folktronic experimentation’ by Dancing About Architecture.

Grasslands also composes DJ mixes, remixes and soundtracks including Danuki Grasshopper’s theatre production of Orwell’s 1984.

Tom also performs as part of the electronic duo No Side Effects.
