I’ve been part of the local Jamaican music scene for over twenty years, playing keys with bands like The Cabrians, Flight 404, Dring Dublé, and Double Jabs. I’ve always liked trying new things, and ska, rocksteady, and reggae led me to discover dub and its unique way of playing with sound.
Now I’m in a new phase that really excites me: sampling and making hip-hop beats. With my Roland SP-404 and MPC 2000XL, I spend hours digging for sounds and rhythms, letting everything I’ve learned over the years come out in a new form under the name Gos D.
