I am in my mid 70s now and have spent a lifetime loving and listening to music. The first DJ I remember listening to was Wolfman Jack, broadcasting on XERB out of Tijuana. I loved the rhythm and blues music he played. It was many years later, over 25 years ago, when I got a chance to do a guest DJ show on KVMR in Nevada City. I showed up very nervous, as the engineer who was assigned to help me never showed up, so I started to hyperventilate until I found someone to help me. The 1st song I ever played was Electricity by synth rock band OMD (Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark). Since then I have been on KYDS in Sacramento and recently spent 19 years on low power FM radio station KUBU in Sacramento. I have a large library of jazz music and many other genres. I pride myself on the quality music I play, mixing it up sometimes and I hope you will like it too.
