Gathering by the Sea is an off-the-beaten-track community-focused celebration of dancing, booze, and charity fundraising at the lovely Old Scalby Mills pub. It affords a multitude of coastal DJs and selectors the excuse to swim ashore and join the resident pop-up pirates in a shared crusade for collective musical joy: playing party music at a decent volume to outstanding people. This could be anything from uplifting disco and house to wonky thumping techno to swashbuckling bass music. Basically its people like you having a boozy dance.
