Feminist initiative including concerts, parties and our own zine!
Since 2015 we have been organizing concerts (often debuts) of girls from Poland and abroad, parties, performances, panel discussions and workshops, we also publish our own feminist-queer zine. Our initiative started from our shared passion for girls in music and our will to see more of them on the Polish music scene, when Poland was still in lack of such initiatives. Soon, the political situation in our country only confirmed the need of a safe space for girls and other underrepresented groups, in which they could share their art and express their minds without men interrupting them. The principal goal of Girls to the Front is to build a community of women, non-binary, trans and queer people, which is accessible, inspiring and supportive, and in which each voice is equally important.
