Mix Sets are a kind of creative act as well as a record of a series of decisions at a particular moment in time. It is an expression, a pastiche in which a person juxtaposes songs and sounds. The completed mix has a tone and makes a statement. Moreover, the variation between different mixes is tremendous. They refract and reflect a period of time, a sense of place, emotional states, aesthetic sensibilities, etc.
Generally, my sound is Progressive House & Trance with Vocal elements though I sometimes like to experiment with other genres. I play more uplifting progressive house late in my sets and throwing in some electro and the occasional classic from time to time.
