For a while I've been wanting to do a mix of the big room/open air progressive/cyber trance that I would hear at the free parties in Golden Gate Park that were thrown by Skills and F8 back in the late '90s and early 2Ks. Hundreds of candy ravers would show up for these events, and I loved the uplifting energy of the crowds and the music. When I first started DJing it was with this sound in mind, and now I feel like there's a need to bring this kind of energy back into the scene. Special "in memoriam" to Robert Miles at the end, who died recently but laid the foundation for chill trance in the mid-90s with the quintessential "Children." I hope to be playing this live at one or more events this summer, and will update with a live version if I do. Make sure you play this plenty loud!
