I started working on this mix in July of 2020 in anticipation of playing an outdoor later that month. Then I, and seemingly the rest of the world around me, lost its mind. Recently I found myself becoming aware of music again, listening to the great Larry Mizell Jr. and Kevin Cole on KEXP, dipping into my Spotify playlists, and thinking about possibilities of the future. Two weeks ago I opened Traktor for the first time since July, and this is what I found. I don't know that its the best expression of what I hope to create at the moment, but it certainly seemed like something I should play through. This is the result.
