Born and raised in KwaLanga, the oldest township
in the Western Cape, Frequency Shifters was a dynamic electronic music duo, formed in 2019 by Thando Mkunqwana, the late Sakhile Ngcozana & Sipho Sigxashi who also passed on in 2021.

Thando decide to keep the name in honor of his mates. His blend of Afro Melodic house is a combination of urban techno infused with deep indigenous African sounds.

This introverted individual produces and plays music which crosses over, acting as a bridge to the world.
