He sold his soul for gold,
Chasing dreams so bright, so bold.
Blinded by the glitter, lost in the chase,
He can’t see the darkness creeping in his face.
He thinks he's won, on top, and free,
But around him, all can see—
The price he paid, the cost too high,
His heart is empty, though he’ll deny.
Success he claims, but at what cost?
A soul once pure, now truly lost.
Blind to the truth that others know,
He’s rich in wealth, but poor in soul.
