Chris Jackson, aka Filthy Mank, now WHOAMI began his passion for musical discovery at a very early age after buying his first 12” from Manchester’s legendary Eastern Bloc records. Since then, hours have been spent in the capital of the north’s record shops in search of hidden gems and forgotten house classics. Chris spent hours at home on the 1210’s honing his craft, listening to the likes of 808 State, Graham Park and Justin Robertson. Jackson’s meticulous attention to mixing, and a canny ear for a timeless tune, produced party mix tapes for friends that are still played to this day!
