Curated by Walid Nehmé & Shams Albadri, FIBRE is a non-profit, independent publication sharing photographs, articles and creative writings, exploring the culture of music worldwide.

It is a passion project that marinates together the works of a photographer and the works of a writer over the mutual interest for music. The project addresses our curiosities and observations and the content is further stimulated by real-life experiences.

Our work involves extensive research into the effects of music on the human psyche, meeting with artists from all walks of life and sharing their stories, discovering new musicians and celebrating their sounds, holding music events and dance performances in various locations and other creative documentations through photography, film and creative writings.
