It's been a unique & tough year, but I want us to head into the New Year bouncing...lets start it right and be optimistic that things will improve.
Sometimes it is hard but I always try to find a silver lining in difficult situations.
For me it is finding my love of mixing again, which happened by accident at the beginning of the first Lockdown, and thanks to MC has developed in a way I never expected.
I just want to thank all the Artists, Producers, DJ's and Listeners who have the passion to make great music, mix, listen, Comment and Post...without all of this MC would be nothing and I would probably have stopped again
I hope we can all find something to aim towards or bright spots in this unique time
So many memories of Midnight sets on New Years, and they always bounced and had that warm jungle vibe.
This is the feel I aimed for with this session, I want people to bounce along to this one and hopefully start the new year with a smile

Caught myself having a lil' kitchen skank to this beauty...lol Can only be a good ting :)) Needed a sweet injection of jungle and ya sure delivered! I was very fortunate to be a part of the jungle movement in London way back in the 90's so sets like this will always stir the emotions and bring back such positive memories...or at least what I remember..lol. Very well mixed Feeva. Effortless transitions, cool switches and nice combo of newer material. I gotta say I have missed mixin' up the jungle...might have to get back on my Deep in Dub series this year...🦁 Big upps brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey ProCeed, Happy New Year Mate, so happy to stir those emotions of what many of us feel was a magical period. Just like my back 2 92 set, this one took a little extra time as it had to be done right, the vibe. the flow and getting the mix of old and new was important..And it's always a bonus when someone says they fancy dipping into that vibe, and did you notice how much Derrick & Tonika are in this set, so thanks again for that..heres to a big and better 2021 for us all

I could also see this set perfectly placed at Notting Hill carnival too with the interwoven Ragga flavours through the mix.

Hey MystaE, I have to say if this was the only comment I got, it would be enough. Tough times and I think everyone has bad moments. Kind of why I wanted to do this set and important to get it right. Everything you said suggests I got it right which is awesome.. Look forward to catching some more of your sessions..looks like we might have started here at a similar time. Huge mix Feeeeeva! Certainly put a smile on my face mate, some of the tunes might be a couple of years too early for me (was into happy hardcore back in the day haha) but hearing King of the Beats and those chimes from Valley of the Shadows brought back some memories :) top stuff my friend!
It has definitely been a good thing getting back into mixing Feeva! Oh and what was that tune with the sample from The Chronic? Loved it :)

I think it's P-Funk Era by Pascal that you are talking about, normally in most peoples favourite classics list. Look forward to going back into the lost gardens..may have to spend a whole day there :)

Wow - you totally smashed this mix Feeva!!! First of all, I absolutely love the selection - old skool 90s jungle mixed with more current stuff - you've nailed the balance perfectly. These classic jungle tracks are what I listened to as a teen in the mid to late 90's - a decent dose of nostalgia for me!! Secondly the mixing is on another level mate - loving the playful cutting of the cross fader in a lot of the transitions and you move through the tracks with the clean, swift slicing & dicing of a junglist ninja!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this and will definitely be getting repeat plays from me!! Big ups!! :)
Johnny you just made my day mate, your comment mirrors exactly what I was trying to do here...this one took a bit longer because i reallty wanted to nail that nostalgic feel but combined with some of the great artists and tracks I have found recently..And with all the new content constantly coming along for someone to say its going to get repeated is AWESOME!!!!!! ...Need to peel myself of the ceiling and get back to work now. Forgot to say, that spending time on MC I realise alot of us lived the scene at this time so I had to get it right, and it's funny back then most of us had the same record bag it was important to try and be original with your mixing style, that's why i throw the cross fader around, slcie and dice LOL and i live for double drops..thx again mate, you just make me want to write about my process
