Evan has always been deeply fascinated with music and the emotions it evokes within the listener. He is a firm believer that happiness is the best feeling to bring out in people, which is why he loves to make you smile on the dance floor. Bringing funk with just enough edge to uplift your soul he certainly knows how to energize a room. With a deep-rooted love for electronic music, he is very clued in when it comes to his passion.
In 2006 he embarked on his journey into the electronic music world, where he built himself up as a self-taught DJ. In 2012 Evan joined forces with his brother Wesley and began the project, Kotton
Kandy. Together they played at various festivals across South Africa sharing the stage with an array of local and international artists.
Since then Evan has meticulously perfected his craft refining his sound along the way. He blends various styles of techno, tech-house and hi-tech minimal to create a driving, funky and incredibly
sexy musical experience.
