Eternity Bleeps has existed since 1991 as an outlet for Malcolm’s electronic instrumental music. In 2009 Malcolm was invited to compose music for the play Bakawali by Ashley Alyman. The music was a combination improvised electronic filtering, synthesizers and gamelan. This lead to further long form improvisations, with a performance at the Southbank Centre’s Gamelanathon, July 2014. In 2015 Cathy Eastburn joined as vocalist for the release of the “Sekar Iki” album. In August 2015 they made their debut live performance at David Byrne’s Meltdown festival.
